The Quantum AI Laboratory (QuAIL) is always looking for motivated, creative, and hardworking individuals to join our team in Honolulu. We are an interdisciplinary group working at the intersection of quantum optics, photonics, and machine learning (both theory and experiment).

Open Positions

We are currently actively hiring for the following positions:

1. Postdoctoral Researchers

We seek candidates with a strong background in experimental quantum optics, photonics, or quantum information theory. Experience with machine learning applications in physical systems is a significant plus.

2. Graduate Students (PhD & Master’s)

We are looking for dedicated students interested in pursuing advanced degrees in Physics or Electrical Engineering. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects involving photonic quantum networks and AI-driven quantum discovery.

3. Undergraduate Researchers

Motivated UHM undergraduates interested in gaining hands-on experience with quantum systems or specialized ML coding are encouraged to reach out.
